A big thank you to all who attended and helped but together our ball last month. Everyone had a blast. One of our patrons, Hei Park, put together a video of some of the party goers dancing away to Hudson K (she also took some fabulous photos of the event). Check it out here: http://youtu.be/
Modern Dance Primitive Light 2012
December 13-15, 2012 will find Circle Modern Dance in the Historic Laurel Theatre for our 21st annual production of Modern Dance Primitive Light (MDPL). This year will again present a diverse mix of dance and musical styles from eight fanstasic new and returning choreographers. Included in that group will be a work from founding director, Mark Lamb, who set choreography on dancers during his workshop in October.
If you have never seen us perform, MDPL conveys the warm inviting spirit of the holidays with respect to the diversity of our audience. A dance company founded on inclusivity Circle Modern Dance, voted Metro Pulse’s Best of Knoxville Dance Company, celebrates movement and creativity year after year inviting audiences to connect with dancers, performance artists, and live musicians while being immersed in the warm ambiance of the Laurel Theater.
